Sabrina will be co-teaching the Teen skills course. She has a bachelor's in Psychology from North Carolina Central University and a Master's in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill. Sabrina focused her graduate school experience on DBT and became intensively trained in 2021. She integrated DBT skills into the programming at the Intensive Outpatient Program where she was working and soon created an adolescent DBT group at the practice. Sabrina has provided individual DBT to teens and adults over the past two years.

She works with people struggling to find effective ways to handle life events and big emotions. As people go through major life events, the pressures of getting older, and unprecedented times, sometimes stress, anger, hopelessness, and other emotions become too much to handle alone. Sabrina believes that you are your own best storyteller and wants to work to help you reach your goals.

She believes that you can reach your goals, build a life worth living, and become the effective person you want to be and wants to help you get there. Sabrina is LGBTQIA+-affirming, neurodivergent affirming, and fat-positive.
